This is the easiest Caramel Sauce that will have you licking the spoon.
Add to our Anzac Biscuits, the Sticky Orange Prune Pudding, even plop in a teaspoon of chilli to it and use it as a part of a marinade instead of honey.
The possibilities are endless.
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup OMGhee
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Directions
Combine brown sugar, ghee and cream in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a gentle simmer.
Cook until thickened, and it's the colour you want - up to about 8 minutes. The longer you cook it the deeper the taste - but don't go too long or you'll ruin it.
Add salt if desired and vanilla if desired.
