OMGhee founder Lisa Ormenyessy says: “Working with the BrandOpus team was a critical next step in our brand journey. They really helped me to understand how my brand had become a kit of somewhat unrelated parts,
“The process requires total presence and intention. For me, it’s my great pause from the hustle and bustle. Some people meditate, I make ghee,” said Ormenyessy.
OMGhee is attracting the attention of ghee-loving foodies, health enthusiasts and food connoisseurs and is expected to become a must-have pantry item in Australia.
"I was so ready for a change and after the past few years I needed to do something completely different," she said.
"I've always been passionate about food and have always loved butter - but after studying Ayurveda years ago, I learned there was a healthier alternative... ghee!
Since Food & Drink Business last spoke to OMGhee, the South Australian business has achieved a few milestones, picking up two Gold Medals at the 2023 SA Dairy Awards, and placing as a finalist in the 2023 SA Premier Awards for emerging business, new product and business excellence. It also recently added both Kosher and Halal certification to its labels – which will largely assist its future export plans.
