Yes, Ghee is lactose free, because we have removed all the milk solids. Additionally, the fatty acid chains in ghee have been transformed during the simmering process and therefore have a different action on your body than butter. Store at room temperature in a cool dark place and use within 3 months of opening. Keep clean and always use a fresh clean spoon. There is no need to refrigerate – sit it on your kitchen bench next to your other oils as your go to for all high heat cooking.
