Sweet, Spiced and Spoon-Over-Everything Good
OMGheeShare
This is one of those simple recipes that quietly earns its place in the fridge. Soft, honeyed peaches infused with cardamom and enriched with OMGhee, ready to spoon over just about anything that needs a little lift.
Warming the honey gently with ghee creates a glossy, fragrant base that carries spice beautifully. The cardamom adds warmth and aroma without overpowering the fruit, while the peaches soften just enough to soak up all that flavour and still hold their shape. It is sweet, spiced and comforting without being heavy.
These peaches are incredibly versatile. Spoon them over yoghurt or ricotta for breakfast, serve them with pancakes or crepes, add them to desserts like ice cream or cake, or pair them with cheese for a simple but impressive finish to a meal. They also work beautifully alongside roasted meats where a touch of sweetness is welcome.
Keep a jar in the fridge and you will find yourself reaching for it more often than you expect. It is the kind of recipe that turns everyday meals into something just a little more special.
