Golden, Gooey and Impossible to Stop at One
OMGheeShare
These little brioche bites are dangerously good. Crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle, and soaked in a glossy mix of OMGhee and honey before being rolled in cinnamon sugar. They are the kind of sweet treat that disappears very quickly once they hit the table.
Ghee is the hero here. It gives the brioche a rich, buttery flavour without heaviness, and because it handles heat so well, you get beautifully golden edges without burning the honey or sugar. As the bites bake, the honey and ghee caramelise together, creating that irresistible sticky crunch that makes you reach back for just one more.
They are perfect served warm straight from the oven, either as thick slices or cut into bite-sized pieces for sharing. Add vanilla ice cream and berries if you are feeling generous, or enjoy them as they are with a cup of coffee or tea. This is an easy, crowd-pleasing recipe that works just as well for brunch, dessert, or a sneaky afternoon treat.
