This dish is one of our favorites. Great for meal prep as well!
Aloo Gobi aka cauliflower and potatoes.
1 head of cauliflower – chopped
3 potatoes – chopped
1 or 2 tablespoons of OMghee
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
2 pinches of turmeric
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 or 1 teaspoon red chilli powder depending on your spiciness threshold
1. Wash and cut cauliflower and potatoes. You can see the size of the florets and small diced cubes of potatoes in the picture as a reference.
2. Heat OMghee in a pan. Once hot throw in cumin seeds. Wait till cumin seeds turn reddish brown before continuing.
3. Add cauliflower and potatoes along with the turmeric. Cover pan and let cook for 2 minutes on medium high heat. Stir every 2 minutes until you feel cauliflower and potatoes are fully cooked to your liking.
4. Take the pan off the heat and add all remaining unused spices. Stir very well.
5. Serve and enjoy!
