Our #transformationtuesday this week is @mzedub, a 44 year old mother and long time #gheek of nearly 2 years. It's been truly amazing to watch you progress @mzedub and thank you for your commitment and inspiration! 18 month transformation. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I was a high school athlete - then I was a cheerleader at univ of oregon so I was very fit in my youth - I left school and ended up in an abusive relationship that lent to my going from a size 8 to a 24 in less than a year Once I left that relationship I managed to get down to a 16 but couldn't ever seem to get to a real healthy place I spent the last 10 years as a professional singer touring the world 40 out of 50 weeks a year so on tour buses, in an out of airports was the recipe for eating crappy foods, late at night and no exercise. In 2010 at 39 y/o when I had my daughter I had to come off the road and became a stay at home mommy - I was real depressed had to move home to oregon with my family and basically start over In Feb 2013 I decided I was tired and needed to change my life. I began teaching myself to run and working out 3 days a week. I also began to research clean eating and how to prep meals that would aid in my weight loss goal - I got on instagram and started following the people that looked the most fit and the pages that cooked clean and healthy meals - that's how I found #OMGhee butter Since that time I have lost 60 lbs and have competed in my first NPC Body Building competition this past June and training for my second show Oct 3rd I have created an entirely new life in fitness and life coaching and food prepping meals for clients. I think I'm most proud that my lil girl has seen my journey and is now very conscious about what she eats and making sure she exercises.
